I worked as a graphic design intern for the Summer of 2023. Carve & Burn is a laser engraving business in Miami, FL. My boss, with a strong background in graphic design, served as a mentor to me and helped me expand and strengthen my design skills. Throughout my time as an intern, I created content for social media, produced designs for custom laser engraved orders, and created mockups for customers. Additionally, I assisted in launching the Carve & Burn official website to create fluidity in the ordering and shipping process.

I helped launch carveandburn.com with my mentor through the Shopify app. I uploaded products, shot and edited product images, and created variant options for product personalizations. Additionally, I helped create several product collections and had the opportunity to launch two collections with my own designs.
Summer Tumbler Launch
As part of a new summer initiative, I created custom beachy designs for a Summer Tumbler Collection. This collection features stemless wine tumblers in bright, bold colors, alongside designs that are meant to sit under the sun. In each of my designs, I aimed to utilize eye-catching yet simple typography and minimal illustrations.
I created designs for a new product catered towards Disney’s Food and Wine Festival. In order for this product to be readily available to customers, I designed a landing page on Shopify with the stemless wine tumblers and various design options.
